Cougars Go Crazy for Cook
David Cook may be America’s favorite dawg, but he’s getting a lot of cougar love.
Visiting the Today show, um, today, Cook learned from Meredith Vieira that a large swath of his fan base are older women who get hot—and hot flashes—just thinking about him.
“In fact, my friend, who's my age, is here," Vieira, 54, said. "I'm not going to rat her out and say her name. [But she said] 'Should I be embarrassed?' I said, 'No, look at him!' "
Look at him, indeed. Cook gamely takes the compliment, but it’s clear he’s squirming a bit in a grossest-thing-I’ve-heard-today kind of way.
