Reliable sources tell me exclusively that Jason Ritter (The Class, Joan of Arcadia) has come in for a casting meeting this week on ABC's fabulous, superlovable family drama Brothers & Sisters.

I'm told Jason is up for the much-buzzed-about role of Ryan Walker, the secret child of patriarch William Walker (Tom Skerritt) who was discovered in May's season finale. We'll learn more about Ryan in the new season—which begins this Sunday at 10 p.m.—thanks to some covert recon work from the Walker women, and will ultimately meet him later in the season.

As far as my sources know, no final decision has been made on the casting of Ryan Walker. So what do you think? Is Jason a good fit? He seems to have the right combo of serious-actor mojo and comedy chops, but is there another actor you're holding out for? Make your voice heard below...
