30 Rock: Are the Emmy Winners Gettin' Busy?
Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) and Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) are never, ever, ever getting together on 30 Rock.
Newly trophied Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series Tina Fey has repeatedly said "no way José" to the idea of a Jack-Liz hookup—and all that schmoopy "shippy" B.S. is totally beneath an outstanding comedic television program like 30 Rock anyway. Right?
Sure, except, well, I checked the weather forecast for 30 Rock season three, and I think that a cold day in hell could be coming to pass...
Update
No Deal for Emmy Ratings
UPDATE: The final Nielsen numbers show Sunday's Emmys just did avoid going down as the least watched on record.
The telecast averaged 12.33 million, up from the early estimate of 12.2 million. The figure puts the show just ahead of the 1990 telecast, which averaged 12.3 million. So, in other words, Sunday's show was merely the second least watched Emmys on record.

Reality bit for the Emmys.
If ratings estimates hold, last night's show will go down as the least-watched Emmy telecast on record.
From 8 to 11 p.m., the ABC telecast averaged 12.2 million, down 6 percent from last year's Nielsen-challenged affair, and on par with the record-low 12.3 million who caught the show in 1990.
Inside the Emmy Parties: Couples Scoop and More!
Amy Poehler was robbed!
Now that we've gotten that out of our systems, let's dig into all the fun scoop you need to know from the red-hot Emmy after parties, including a certain Dexter duo who seem to now be a public coupling (Hint: They are brother and sister!), what Emily VanCamp tells me about smooching her former brother Dave Annable, the latest on Will Arnett's attempts to make my nose bleed and which Prison Break star and House star were cozying up on the dance floor...
Easy as AMC for 30 Rock-Solid Emmys
Are you watching now?
Despite what some would characterize as criminally low ratings, 30 Rock scored its second consecutive win for Outstanding Comedy Series and Mad Men notched its first win for Outstanding Drama Series on what turned out to be an evening of firsts (and fourths and elevenths...) at the 60th Annual Emmy Awards, which took place Sunday night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
Probst Survives Critics at the Emmys
The backstage reviews for the Emmy telecast were not kind. To the Emmy hosts.
Entourage star Jeremy Piven ripped their opening. The writer for John Adams ripped their general presence.
Jeff Probst, one of the five reality-bound Emmy cohosts, took the harsh Tribal Council vote well.
"We knew all along it's going to be tough having five people," Probst told the Emmy backstage press.
The problem, Probst says, was getting those five people—Probst, Project Runway's Heidi Klum, American Idol's Ryan Seacrest, Dancing With the Stars' Tom Bergeron and Deal or No Deal's Howie Mandel—to agree on what they were going to do on the Nokia Theatre stage.

Security Breach Outside Emmy Theater Delays a Few Stars But Not the Show
Good to know that security is on their toes over at the Nokia Theatre.
Los Angeles police confirm to E! News that a security breach occurred at a checkpoint near the downtown Los Angeles venue at about 3:30 p.m., just as the red carpet action was starting to pick up before the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
According to authorities, three people who were planning to attend the ceremony were detained for questioning after guards found an aerosol rifle (similar in looks to a BB gun) in the trunk of their car at a checkpoint near the arrivals area.
"A car got past a checkpoint, and it had to be checked by the bomb squad," a law-enforcement source told E! News.
The incident prompted a 15-minute halt in the chauffeur action, as the throughway was shut down and A-listers such as Eva Longoria Parker had to ditch their rides and hoof it a short distance to the carpet, the source said.
Emmys' Champagne Wishes!
Grey's Anatomy stars Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson got their party on last night with a gaggle of their fab celeb friends.

Nominee Michael Emerson Talks Emmys and Lost
No one does evil like Michael Emerson.
Not only did he move the freaking Island in the latest Lost finale (still trying to wrap our heads around that one), his character, Benjamin Linus, is one of the most compelling TV villains of all time—who might not actually be a villain.
At this Sunday's Emmys, Michael is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor based on his heartbreaking and fascinating portrayal of Ben's transition from smug, self-righteous supervillain to devastated, guilt-stricken father in the episode "The Shape of Things to Come."
As he gears up for the big day, Emerson was kind enough to phone in—from, who knows, Tunisia?—to discuss his nomination (as well as the show's), along with a little insight into what's to come in season five of Lost...

Getting Behind Neil Patrick Harris at the Emmys
The Creative Arts Emmys went down over the weekend, and as you can see in the sneak peek clip above, two of our beloved TV faves—Barney and Stella, aka Neil Patrick Harris and Sarah Chalke—kicked things off with their usual awesomeness (and ass-crackery).
We caught up with the cracked-out duo backstage and learned that Sarah is looking more and more like a How I Met Your Mother regular (hurrah!) and is apparently a "gentle kisser." Want more HIMYM and Scrubs goodies from the Emmy fiesta? Click in!
