Misty May-Treanor has two Olympic gold medals. Alas, her opportunity to add a gaudy, glitzy disco ball to her trophy case has ended.

The beach volleyball champ has indeed been forced to withdraw from Dancing With the Stars after rupturing her Achilles tendon Friday while practicing the jive.

"I was actually really excited, because this was the first dance I was going to do in sneakers, so go figure," May-Treanor, leaning on crutches, said ruefully. "I am out, but I'm not out of cheering on the competitors and keeping in touch with everybody."

The 31-year-old athlete is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow, but said that she'd love to come back and dance the jive someday.

"It turns out I'm more emotional than her," partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy said tonight. "She was laughing in the hospital, and I was asking for Vicodin."

"I'm really sad, but I hope that we'll stay friends," he added.

Whether this means that last week's castoff, Kim Kardashian, gets a second chance because producers need to keep to a schedule remains to be seen. An announcement is expected during tomorrow's results show.

"I have not ever had plastic surgery," she writes in her blog, accompanied by a voluptuous photo of herself in a bikini at age 14.

"I hope after seeing this you guys will never ask me a plastic surgery question again! I have had a size C since I was 11 years old!"

Also on the didn't-do-it list: lip injections, a nose job or butt implants.

But Kim hasn't ruled out a little nip 'n' tuck: "One day I will definitely get a lift, but I am waiting until after I have kids. Until then I rely on a great supportive bra!"

Kim Kardashian set the record straight Tuesday after a seemingly innocent blog post on her part sparked mass speculation from her friends and family.

The DWTS star blogged Monday that her "hubby" Reggie Bush would be rooting her on from home since he couldn't be at her show that night, leading some to believe that the two had married.

According to Kim, "My cousin CiCi called me and asked if Reggie and I got married, because she saw 'hubby' written here on my blog!"

Let's just say Kim may be on Dancing With the Stars, but here, we get a little running with the stars.

While doing lunch in Beverly Hills, Kim Kardashian and her sisters were shooting a scene for their reality series, E!'s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, when they felt the urge to address a group of shutterbugs with a universal hand gesture. However, fearing the image might be misconstrued, Kim has taken to her blog to explain its usage.

"The paparazzi were driving us crazy! We were trying to eat and they were screaming at us," writes Kim. "I realize how easily this could be taken out of context. It's just a picture, so you never get to hear what they said on the other end to provoke us!!! I promise I'll try my best from now on to be polite."

Don't get too polite on us there, Kim. While we don't exactly condone flipping the bird, we certainly don't condemn it either. After all, it just makes keeping up with you and your clan all the more interesting.

Keeping up with Kim Kardashian and all her endeavors may soon get a bit tougher.

The reality star told Hyla on the Yo on E! satellite radio show Wednesday that she would like to try her hand at singing: "I would be down, if it was something fun. I love music, so it would just have to be the right thing."

If and when she pursues this, Kim has an all-star list of performers with whom she'd like to collaborate...

"Whenever you have an athlete dating a celebrity personality, it ups the glam factor surrounding that athlete," says a Saints team insider.

"That doesn't always bode well for a player's game ability. You've got to have your head totally in the game. Ask Tony Romo's teammates what happens every time Jessica Simpson shows up."
