Bye George! Crooner Guilty of False Imprisonment

In the eyes of a British jury, Boy George really did want to hurt him.

A London court found the former Culture Club crooner guilty on Friday of falsely imprisoning a male escort George hired for an erotic porn shoot.

The 47-year-old entertainer, whose full name is George O'Dowd, faced charges for handcuffing 28-year-old Audun Carlsen to a wall in the singer's apartment last April and roughing Carlsen up before the man managed to wriggle free of the restraints, flee the flat and seek help.

Tina Fey: Mean Girl?

Janel Moloney, Tina Fey, Robin Lively, 30 Rock NBC Photo/Nicole Rivelli

Is Tina Fey getting uncomfortable with fame?

If we were armchair psychologists—and we are!—we'd wonder if there was some Fey-related subtext in tonight's episode of 30 Rock about the confusing, sometimes painful limits of popularity. Considering the ep comes as Fey makes the cover of Vanity Fair, and gets dissed in The New Yorker, well, all we can say is…blurgh.

Anyway, Fey's Liz Lemon attends her high school reunion to find she wasn't a pathetic nerd in high school: She was a mean girl who terrorized her classmates (like The West Wing's Janel Moloney) with withering sarcasm and lispy, brace-slurred comments. At least Alec Baldwin's Jack finds temporary solace pretending to be a guy who drove a Camero...well, until Liz is mean to him.

Plus, there's a bucket of blood!

Jennifer Hudson: Grammy Nods "Truly a Blessing"

Jennifer Hudson Gregg DeGuire/Getty Images

It's very nice that Jennifer Hudson has something to smile about.

The Oscar winner, whose personal life has tragically overshadowed her professional accomplishments in recent weeks, said Thursday that she's "honored" to be among the nominees for the 51st Annual Grammy Awards.

"It's been a childhood dream of mine to release an album, so to receive four Grammy nominations is truly a blessing. I'm extremely honored and humbled by the nominations," Hudson said in a statement released by Arista Records.

The 27-year-old singer-actress' self-titled debut is a contender for R&B Album of the Year, while the tune "Spotlight" has her in the running for Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. Hudson also shares a nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals for her duet with Fantasia on "I'm His Only Woman."

Natalie Maines, Fellow Chicks Courted for Libel

Another Dixie Chicks cause, another angry reaction.

A man whose 8-year-old stepson was killed in 1993 has sued all three members of the country-pop group for defamation, singling out frontwoman Natalie Maines for her comments suggesting that he played a role in the boy's death.

Maines, whose outspokenness has won her lifelong friends and mortal enemies alike, appeared last December at a rally in Little Rock, Ark., for the three men, tagged the "West Memphis Three" by their supporters, who were convicted as teenagers of killing the plaintiff's stepson, Steve Branch, and two other 8-year-old boys.

According to the six-page complaint filed Nov. 25 in Pulaski County Circuit Court, the "Not Ready to Make Nice" singer told the crowd that new DNA evidence from the crime scene implicated Steve's stepdad, Terry Hobbs, and that Hobbs' behavior following the boys' death was suspect.

Survivor: Gabon Down to a Sly Six

Survior: Gabon, Corinne Kaplan, Bob Crowley Monty Brinton/CBS

After a week off so that us Yanks could celebrate Turkey Day, the game continued Thursday on Survivor: Gabon with a few puzzles, a slog through a swamp, a little trivia and a nice surprise standing in the way between one contestant and a free pass into next week.

Or, for another, a seat on the Gabon jury.

Here's a rundown of the challenges and twisted thought processes leading up to tonight's elimination:

Prop 8 Protest Plans for Sundance Film Fest Fizzle

Sundance Film Festival George Pimentel/Getty Images
More from Marc Malkin

The Sundance Film Festival will go on as planned.

Despite calls for a boycott of the Utah-based festival (in response to the Mormon Church's role in the passage of Proposition 8 in California), the movement doesn't appear to be getting any significant support.

"I can say this, 'We're not staying away from Sundance,' " says Ellen Huang, founder of Queer Lounge, the six-year-old networking and event space that has become the prime gathering spot for gay and lesbian festivalgoers. "I think it would do more harm than good in boycotting an institution that has been so critical in helping create tolerance and acceptance."

Huang says Queer Lounge attracted about 6,000 people last year.

And the problem of the Holiday Village theater seems to have been resolved. Read on to find out how.

"Persons of Interest" Named in Ruffalo Shooting

Mark Ruffalo Steve Granitz/Getty Images

Beverly Hills police announced Thursday that two "persons of interest" have been identified in their investigation into the shooting of Mark Ruffalo's younger brother, 39-year-old Scott Ruffalo—what officials are now calling an attempted murder.

In a press release issued by police department spokesman Lt. Tony Lee, authorities say that they're looking to question a man by the name of Brian Scofield Adham and a woman named Shaha Mishaal in conection with the shooting.

Is Miley Cyrus Really Divorcing Her Parents?

Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus FAME PICTURES
More from Ask the Answer Bitch

I heard that Miley Cyrus is divorcing her parents—is that true? I didn't know a kid could do such a thing.
—Helen, Leeds

First, let's dispense with the thundering denial that just came rolling down from Mount St. Miley:

The rumor that Hannah Montana is considering legal emancipation from her parents is, in the words of a Cyrus publicist responding to my inquiry, "completely false."

However, if Miley Cyrus did want legal sundering from Billy Ray and What's Her Name—essentially freeing herself from her parents and achieving an early adulthood—the teen sensation would be the latest in a long line of famous child performers to do so. In fact there are plenty of names you probably know very well ...

Ding, dong, the witch is so not dead.

Sources confirm to me that Gossip Girl producers are actively planning to bring back Michelle Trachtenberg's delightfully wicked Georgina Sparks for another guest stint toward the end of this season.

The boss himself hints it's true: "It's safe to say you haven't seen the last of her," says executive producer Josh Schwartz, according to Nylon Online.

So what nefarious scheme brings Georgina back to town?
