It's official. MTV today confirmed what we told you about weeks ago: Whitney Port is decamping from The Hills to The City.

The Big Apple-based spinoff from a spinoff finds our heroine trying to launch a career as a fashionista (and scenester) far from home.

"I am thrilled and honored to be in New York City," says Port, "to be able to mature as a young woman both professionally and personally."

But don't expect the 23-year-old maturity seeker to be scrounging for rent money. She's already wrangled a job with famed designer Diane von Furstenberg and been spotted—with camera crew in tow, natch—cavorting about town, such as attending a recent celeb-filled bash hosted by Jermaine Dupri.

OMG! Has Audrina Patridge found a new BFF in Ellen DeGeneres?

Apparently so, as the talk-show host inexplicably makes time for the Hills star on her program today to gossip about the rumors of a possible hookup between frenemy Lauren Conrad and Audrina's man, Justin Bobby. (L.C. herself has denied them.)

"After I found these rumors out, she chose to talk to me through the tabloids and not come directly to me or call me, as a true friend," says Audrina. "Neither of them have really talked to me or made an effort, so I really don't know what to believe. I don't want to believe it."

"Can you stop doing the show?" asks Ellen, in her best concerned gal-pal voice. "Because it all sounds kind of messy and hurtful, right?"

"It is...[but] I'm a big part of the show, so, you know, we're filming until December. And then after that, you know, we'll see," confides Audrina.

Hmmm. Can an appearance by L.C. on Oprah be far behind?

Spencer Pratt wants to give the 90210 hotties a bite.

To eat, that is. While raising money for World Hunger at the Taco Bell on La Brea Boulevard Thursday, Pratt talked to E! about who he think is the hungriest cast in Hollywood.

"The hungriest? 90210 for sure! Get them down to Taco Bell ASAP!" said Pratt.

The dynamic duo contributed to the cause all afternoon by handing out food and posing in the drive-thru for a storm of paparazzi, striving to help the world one taco at a time.

Leo DiCaprio had a Hills run-in that will sadly never make it to MTV. (How weird would it be to see a real-life star on The Hills?!)

Sources tell E! News that the actor, along with his bros, Entourage’s Kevin Connolly, Lukas Haas and a swarm of girls, natch, were hanging out at L.A. club Crown Wednesday night, where the Hills cast was also partying.

Because a party isn’t a party if it isn’t caught on tape and broadcast into millions of homes, MTV cameras were there to capture any “drama” between Lauren, Lo and Audrina, given that Audrina just moved out. Of course, there was no drama because it has become the most boring show ever.

Now, Leo’s a smart dude and knows it would definitely not be cool if he were caught on camera with this group, so he was extra careful to avoid being in any shots. However, once Project Capture Dramz was over, Leo was ready to party...

First, she moved out. Now, Audrina Patridge is moving up—by way of her first endorsement deal.

The Hills star and sometimes actress (is there a difference?) will become the new face of Divine Rights Denim, a source tells E! News. She will collaborate on jean designs as well.

According to Divine's director of sales, Angel Shoshan, Audrina apparently possesses what is known in the jeans world as a "real denim edgy friendliness" that the company wanted.

"She has that flavor to her," says Shoshan. "She can wear a wife beater and jeans, and she just looks comfortable and hot."

Perhaps. But personally, we happen to think she looks waaay hotter dressed like this.

The much-talked-about Hills spinoff featuring Whitney Port has been picked up by MTV, sources confirm to E! News exclusively.

"They will start shooting immediately," says a show source, who confirms the pickup just happened within the last two weeks—though the network has not officially confirmed.

The series, set to begin airing in early 2009, will feature Port's life in New York City, where she is now working for Diane von Furstenberg. (You know, that nice lady from the American Express commercials.)

Looking back, we realize Whitney's role on The Hills could be called superfluous...

The Hills is a little less alive. At least, for now.

Following weeks of tension, tears and mascara-running moments, Audrina Patridge was seen and, of course, filmed, moving out of the guesthouse at Lauren Conrad's L.A. home on Thursday.

The emotional (?) departure no doubt stems from the constant conflicts being staged, er, happening between Audrina, L.C. and their fellow roommate, Lo Bosworth.

But where, oh where, will our little Audrina go?!

Guess we'll just have to stay tuned to find out. Dammit.
